Asset and Inventory Control Specialist

INOVA Partners, LLC (“Inova”) is seeking a full-time Asset and Inventory Control Specialist (30+ hours per week) to join our team. This role is vital to the efficient management of company assets, inventory, and fleet vehicles across all veterinary practices and divisions. The ideal candidate will oversee tracking, management, and optimization to drive cost reduction, operational improvement, and inventory control.
This position collaborates closely with practice managers and staff across our equine hospitals/racetracks and companion animal clinics. Inova operates facilities throughout Texas, and veterinary services are currently provided at New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arizona, Minnesota, and Iowa racetracks. Traveling is required.

Key Responsibilities
Asset & Fleet Management
- Maintain an accurate tracking system for all medical equipment, technology, and major capital assets.
- Manage company fleet vehicles to optimize utilization, ensure proper maintenance, and minimize unnecessary costs.
Inventory Control & Cost Optimization
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce redundant ordering and medication expiration.
- Perform regular audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy across all locations.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant industry regulations.
- Generate financial and operational reports related to asset utilization and inventory turnover.
Technology & Process Improvement
- Implement and manage an inventory management system to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Train staff on best practices for ordering, inventory tracking, and storage protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inventory control, asset management, or fleet operations.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems is required.
Additional Information
- Background screening and drug testing are required.
- Salary: $70,000–$75,000, depending on experience.
- Incentives: Performance-based bonuses available.
