D. Kirk Eddleman, MHA, is a founding partner, Chief Business Officer, and Chairman of the Board of ESMS Inova, LLC (dba “Inova Partners”), a company dedicated to owning and operating equine and companion animal veterinary practices across Texas and neighboring states. While Kirk’s expertise centers on equine practice management, his extensive career includes ownership and management of diverse businesses related to veterinary medicine, including a veterinary business consulting firm, a practice management software company, a compounding pharmacy, a construction firm, a veterinary reference laboratory, and multiple landholding companies.

With over 25 years of experience, Kirk has managed and consulted with some of the nation's leading equine practices. Additionally, he has worked with top veterinary colleges to refine their business practices and enhance academic programs.

Before joining ESMS in 2005, Kirk served as the Hospital Administrator for the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital at Texas A&M University, where he led the Large Animal ICU, managed the large animal veterinary technician program, authored the university’s Technician Career Ladder, and chaired the Large Animal Infectious Diseases Committee.

Kirk holds a Master of Health Administration from Texas A&M University. He is a published author in veterinary technical and business management journals and an accomplished speaker. He has been invited to present at numerous prestigious organizations and conferences, including the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), Western Veterinary Conference (WVC), Southwest International Veterinary Conference (SWIVC), and many others. His presentations cover a wide range of topics, focusing on the technical and business facets of veterinary practice.
